CCL Global announced the completion of a major scope of work on the Front-End Engineering of an $8 billion project, which will be integrated to create one of the largest petrochemical complexes in the world.
As the client’s sole supplier on this phase of the project, CCL were responsible for identifying and supplying a full Project Management Team to lead and oversee the FEED Contractors. The engineering was completed across multiple locations in Asia and the United States, with the 28-person team comprised of locals, repatriated dual-nationals and Western expats. In addition to staffing and contracting the Engineering and Project Management Team, CCL’s service highlights included:
Logistics and Travel
Local and International Salary Benchmarking
Cost of Living Analysis
Development of Travel/Rotational Policy
With engineering on the project undertaken across the Far East, Asia-Pacific, Europe and the United States, CCL provided a custom plan to improve sourcing efficiencies for the end-client as well as offer solutions to challenging staffing issues. Paul Popovic, Divisional Head of Engineering for CCL said, “this was a flagship project for CCL in many ways, but it highlights our ability to offer technical workforce solution services tailored to the needs of our client in a consultative manner.”
CCL’s Project of the Year came as a result of the hard work of our engineering recruitment division and expert operations team which managed the ongoing support of our team of contractors. The successful implementation of these type of projects demonstrates the value brought to our clients and the hands-on approach we take to solving difficult workforce challenges on the most significant projects.
