In a year where the energy market has seen its fair share of ups and downs, CCL UK has its sights firmly fixed on 2020. Market trends suggest that exploration and production sectors will be in for a difficult year, while other sectors are set to stay strong. CCL has diversified into several sub-sectors within the energy industry to offer a wide range of workforce solutions to clients and candidates alike.

CCL UK Business Director, Keith Jones, has expressed his strategy to continue diversification across nuclear, power, renewables, & mining: “While we have worked across some diversified sectors, we have historically been focused on oil and gas; thus, we are going to drive diversification over the coming years into the fields of power, nuclear, renewables, mining and civil. CCL UK will be focusing on offering full life cycle support to our clients and contractors,” said Jones.

In order to successfully diversify into these industries, CCL have readied plans to open additional offices in new regions where these industries are centralized. France has become a hub for the nuclear industry and is playing host to some of the sector’s largest nuclear projects. CCL intends to put itself at the forefront as the staffing partner of choice on these projects.

Currently, CCL has office locations in North America, the United Kingdom, Africa, and southeast Asia. Managing Director, Chris Maltby, has made office expansion a focal point in CCL’s strategic plan – with 2020 expected to be a pivotal year.
