Force Horizon officially completed their remarkable 3,000-mile Atlantic crossing in January, conquering one of the world’s toughest endurance events and proving exactly what resilience, preparation, and teamwork can achieve. Facing relentless conditions, sleep deprivation, unpredictable weather, and weeks at sea in a small rowing boat, Chip and Kip pushed through every challenge the Atlantic could throw at them. Their achievement places them among a small group of individuals who have successfully completed the World’s Toughest Row, a race so demanding that more people have summited Everest than attempted to row an ocean.
CCL was incredibly proud to sponsor Force Horizon throughout this journey. From the start, their mission reflected values that strongly align with our own: resilience under pressure, teamwork in extreme conditions, and the drive to achieve something meaningful through collective effort. Watching Chip and Kip complete more than 1.5 million oar strokes across the Atlantic was inspiring not only because of the physical accomplishment, but because of the purpose behind it.
Most importantly, the challenge helped raise awareness and support for the The Jon Egging Trust, an organization dedicated to helping young people build confidence, resilience, leadership skills, and self-belief through long-term support programs and mentorship opportunities. Both rowers have spoken about the importance of inspiring young people to push beyond perceived limitations, making this challenge about far more than crossing an ocean. We’re extremely proud of Chip and Kip for taking on this incredible challenge, and we’re already looking forward to the next adventure and the continued impact of the Force Horizon mission.
